Statement of non-discrimination

Sapience Therapy welcomes every person who comes to us for care, and every person who works, trains, or teaches with us. We do not discriminate against or harass anyone on the basis of:

  • race, color, ethnicity, ancestry, or national origin

  • immigration or citizenship status

  • language or accent

  • religion, creed, or lack of religious belief

  • sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or transgender status

  • pregnancy, parental status, marital status, or family structure

  • age

  • physical, mental, psychiatric, sensory, cognitive, or learning disability, or a history of any of these

  • medical condition, including HIV status, or genetic information

  • veteran or military status

  • income, source of payment, ability to pay, housing status, or level of education

  • political affiliation or belief

  • physical appearance or body size

  • any other characteristic protected by federal law, Massachusetts law, or the law of any state where we practice

This applies to everything we do: who we accept as patients, how we treat them, who joins retreats and trainings, and how we hire, pay, supervise, and promote our staff.

Clinical decisions are made based on medical and clinical criteria only. Ketamine-assisted therapy is not right for everyone, and if it is not right for you, we will tell you why, and help you find another route to care.

We offer a sliding scale so more people can afford treatment. You do not need to explain or document your circumstances beyond what the scale requires.

If you need an interpreter, an accessible space, a different format for materials, or other accommodation, tell us what you need, and we will arrange it at no cost to you.

We will review every concern, respond in writing, and will not retaliate against anyone who raises one. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
