We are offering a day long experiential KAP training retreat for licensed mental health professionals. This training is also approved by CIIS to fulfill the CPTR Applied Learning Objective. The retreat will be held amongst the beautiful woods at Montague Retreat Center, Montague, MA.

Date: Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm

Covid-19 policy: Participants are expected to covid test prior to the event (rapid or PCR accepted) and share a negative test result prior to arrival. Further requirements may be implemented if mandated by state or local public health guidance at the time of the event.

• 10.30 - 10.45 - Guided meditation

• 10.45 - 11.45 - Basics of ketamine as a medicine; ketamine use in psychotherapy, preparation for what to expect in the medicine session, questions and answers

• 11.45 - 12.00 - Bathroom break

• 12.00 - 2.00 - Medicine session using ketamine lozenges

• 2.00 - 2.45 - Lunch

• 2.45 - 3.15 - Time for walk, stretching, journaling, drawing, personal reflections

• 3.15 - 4.00 - Small group integration

• 4.00 - 4.30 - Large group sharing circle

• 4.30 - 4.45 - Bathroom break

• 4.45 - 5.15 - Ethical issues in psychedelic medicine

• 5.15 - 5.45 - Practice considerations, questions and answers

• 5.45 - 6.00 - Closing circle

• 6.00 - End of the formal retreat day

Please note participants may not drive after the retreat. Participants may either get a ride back home or stay overnight at the retreat center. The Montague Retreat Center has several accommodations for overnight stay that are blocked for our clinicians attending the retreat. A self-attestation is included in the application form specifying post-retreat travel arrangements.
